2001

a humidor

Dominique’s journey into the cigar world began in 2001 when she stumbled upon a humidor in a Brussels shop known for exclusive pens. Intrigued, she was introduced to cigar smoking by the shop owner, sparking a passion that shaped her career.

2003

plumes & cigars

Together with her husband Frédéric, she opened “Plumes & Cigares” in Sint-Martens-Latem, blending Cuban cigars with luxury accessories and launching their entrepreneurial venture.

2011

La Casa Del Habano

First La Casa del Habano store in Knokke. The duo opened an official La Casa del Habano franchise location in Knokke, underscoring their dedication to the Cuban cigar culture.

2013

La Casa Del Habano

La Casa Del Tabaco proudly opened its first store in Ghent in 2013, marking the start of a journey rooted in passion for premium cigars and timeless craftsmanship. What began as a single boutique has since grown into a renowned network of eight exclusive stores, serving cigar aficionados across Belgium.

2016

Hombre deL Habano

The Hombre del Habano award is the ultimate recognition for an individual in the cigar world, given by Habano every year at the Habano Festival in Cuba. Dominique is the first and only woman ever to have received this prestigious award in the retail business.

2017

Best Performance Davidoff

Winner of the prestigious “Best Performance Davidoff” award at the InterTabac fair in Dortmund.

2021

Dominique London

Founding of Dominique London (through merger). La Casa Del Tabaco (Belgium) and C.Gars Ltd (UK) merged to form Dominique London, a leading group of luxury cigar boutiques in Europe. The group also incorporates heritage brands like Turmeaus (established 1873), one of the UK’s oldest tobacconists, acquired by C.Gars Ltd in 2002.

2022

PLASENCIA INTERNATIONAL RETAILER OF THE YEAR

Plasencia Cigars presented their third award, “Plasencia International Retailer of the Year”, to Dominique London.

2021 - 2024

EXPANSION TO SWITZERLAND & CANARY ISLANDS

International expansion with new boutiques in Switzerland and the Canary Islands, strengthening its presence in the world of premium cigars.

2025

WORLD EXPANSION & ROBB REPORT BEST CIGAR MERCHANT

Driving our world expansion through strong European growth, highlighted by our entry into Germany and Monte-Carlo via the acquisition of Casa Del Puro and the launch of the Monte-Carlo Cigar Club, alongside the opening of a new boutique in Luxembourg. Dominique London also had the honour of winning Best Cigar Merchant 2025, the ultimate luxury accolade recognizing the world’s finest experiences. The success continued with the Monte-Carlo Cigar Club, which was awarded Best Cigar Club 2025, further cementing the group’s leadership in premium cigars.

2026

PALL MALL FLAGSHIP STORE

Opening of Dominique London’s flagship store on Pall Mall, St James’s. The new flagship becomes the group’s primary London location, reinforcing its presence in the capital with a focus on curated selection, expert storage, and refined client experience.
